Good morning everyone! I would like to make everyone aware of a great way for us to get involved and bless our community. As you have likely heard on the news, SNAP benefits are not going to be dispersed this coming month which means many people in our community may go without food. The Ministerial Alliance is encouraging churches and individuals to give food to any of our local food banks including but not limited to the Salvation Army. I am attaching a flyer you can all post to your social media pages to raise awareness. The Salvation Army is taking food donations directly but if you would rather drop off food at the church building I will get it to them. In addition to the Salvation Army I can take food donations to other area food banks if you would prefer that. We just want to help our food banks be prepared for the increase in need they are sure to see this month. Thank you!!!
